Never lose your Wi-Fi password and more tips to kick-off 2017

January is a great time to set yourself up for success in the New Year. We want to help save you time and keep it simple in 2017, so we’re sharing some of our favorite tips and tricks so you get the most out of XFINITY this year, and every year:

Manage your XFINITY account: Creating an XFINITY username and password is a gateway to experience your services in a whole new way – never miss a show with the TV on the go app, stay connected through Wi-Fi hotspots and make account changes using our service tools. You can also add your personal email address so your account alerts and communications go to the right place. Set yours up through My Account via the iOS or Android app or on the web. 

Find your Wi-Fi password: We want to make it easy for all customers to find their Wi-Fi network name and password at any given moment. Simply speak into your X1 Voice Remote and ask “What’s my Wi-Fi password?” or press A for help and we’ll give you all the details for easy sharing. Or, look it up on My Account online or through our mobile app.

Try out some new billing options: Looking for a way to be more green in 2017? Save some trees and sign up for ecobill, our paperless billing option, and autopay through My Account or directly on your X1.

Troubleshoot at home if something’s wonky: If you have an issue with your XFINITY service, you can call, chat, post or tweet (@comcastcares). But, we want to help you troubleshoot at home when it’s convenient for you. We’re giving our customers the same tools we give our call center agents to perform a system refresh on the X1 when a problem comes up. You can do this in the My Account app on X1 or on your mobile device.   If you are still experiencing any problems, you can schedule a call back so we can get you more help or set up an appointment with one of our technicians.
