Despite all of our best efforts, service outages happen. The least we can do (aside from working at supersonic speed to get you back up and running) is to let you know what’s happening and when it will be fixed. So you know exactly what to expect.

And for the future…here are all the ways to hear from us when there’s an outage:

  • Sign in to My Account and opt in to receive SMS alerts that will give you an estimated time of repair
  • Download the XFINITY My Account app. The homepage keeps you updated on how the network in your area is operating
  • Call us. Our new phone system will identify your number, your location and reassure you that we know you’re currently in a troubled area

In a perfect world, your service would never go down. We have an amazing team of network engineers working 24/7 to make sure that doesn’t happen. But if it does, we will alert you the second something goes wrong — so you know we’re on it.
